Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design and implement autonomous AI agents and multi-agent workflows.

• Create strict-source-following Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems that reduce hallucination and ensure citation integrity.

• Establish guardrails, structured outputs, and validation layers.

• Develop scalable backend services utilizing FastAPI.

• Coordinate agentic workflows through LangGraph.

• Deploy and oversee AI workloads in AWS or Azure environments.

• Enhance model performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Create rigorous evaluation pipelines to assess accuracy, citation adherence, latency, and reliability.

• Set up metric-driven iteration cycles.

• Continuously improve deployed systems based on measurable results.

• Integrate privacy-by-design principles throughout the AI stack.

• Ensure compliance, data sovereignty, and secure handling of data.

• Collaborate across teams to align AI capabilities with regulatory standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience.

• Proven experience in deploying and managing AI workloads within AWS or Azure.

• In-depth technical knowledge of LLM usage and orchestration beyond prompt engineering.

• Strong proficiency in the Python AI ecosystem.

• Expertise in FastAPI.

• Proficiency in LangGraph.

• Demonstrated experience in developing complex RAG systems.

• Proven track record in creating autonomous AI agents.

• Experience in building evaluation frameworks and iterating based on performance metrics.

• Curiosity, self-motivation, and a desire to learn rapidly.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and create clarity.

• Interest in privacy, responsible AI, and trustworthy technology.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with Knowledge Graphs to improve RAG precision.

• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs).

• Nice-to-have: Experience with data anonymization techniques.

• Nice-to-have: Background in compliance-heavy or regulated sectors.
