Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Independently manage and lead tasks from start to finish.

• Provide technical guidance and influence over the engineering team by enhancing and directing the architecture.

• Contribute to simplifying the development process.

• Collaborate closely with Product teams to translate business requirements into innovative, elegant, incremental, and efficient solutions.

• Design and develop components and applications with an emphasis on simplicity, efficiency, maintainability, and code reuse.

• Ensure that applications and architectural choices are well documented.

• Maintain application observability in production and assist in incident resolution.

• Analyze and enhance application scalability, stability, and security.

• Take complete ownership of projects from inception to completion.

• Collaborate with the team to eliminate obstacles.

• Stay current with web development trends, frameworks, and best practices, suggesting improvements to development processes.

• Proficiency in system design and code design patterns.

• Strong expertise in Python.

• Experience with scalable API implementation.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with system observability.

• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.

• Ability to create reusable and modular back-end components that support code reuse, maintainability, and scalability.

• Understanding of agile methodologies and a startup mindset.

• Excellent communication skills, with an inclusive approach to decision-making.

• Experience with cloud-based architectures.

• Practical experience with LLMs.

• Knowledge of prompt engineering and quality control techniques for GenAI.
