This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and create extensive software applications and services that provide eDiscovery AI functionalities, including TAR/CAL workflow engines, document scoring orchestration, Generative AI output pipelines, and APIs for reviewers.
• Architect and deploy Microsoft Azure cloud services that incorporate model serving endpoints, vector search services, Azure OpenAI LLM APIs, and connectors for the eDiscovery platform.
• Work collaboratively with data scientists to convert ML model outputs into dependable, scalable software services that satisfy legal defensibility and performance standards.
• Develop and implement Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, and Kubernetes cloud services to enable high-throughput processing at a multi-million-document scale.
• Compose comprehensive non-functional software requirements and evaluate feasibility concerning time and budget constraints.
• Lead and execute software solutions adhering to SOLID principles, design patterns, defensive programming, and best practices in object-oriented programming.
• Mentor and guide team members in advanced technologies, AI service integration patterns, and software engineering best practices.
• Improve agile engineering processes and promote engineering productivity tools and best practices.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A minimum of 7 years of professional development experience with C# (.NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core).
• At least 5 years of experience in building cloud-connected software on Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and Kubernetes.
• Experience in integrating AI/ML services, including model serving APIs, Azure OpenAI/LLM APIs, vector databases, or Hugging Face inference endpoints.
• No less than 5 years of database development experience using MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent systems.
• Expertise in query optimization and managing large datasets.
• Proficient in Git, Gitflow, Azure DevOps (AZDO), and automation of CI/CD pipelines.
• Over 1 year of practical software development experience utilizing modern AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Codex.
• At least 2 years of experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) or unit testing.
• Experience with eDiscovery platforms like Relativity or Brainspace, or legal technology integrations is strongly preferred.
• Capable of using a computer, communicating via telephone, and reading printed material.
• May need to be on call periodically and work outside standard hours, including evenings and weekends.
