Technical Director – AI Engineering, Technology and Digital

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

• Oversee engineering teams to achieve exceptional outcomes

• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent

• Create clear technology and product roadmaps and ensure their successful execution

• Strategically analyze while deeply engaging with technology and architecture

• Manage various dependencies and foster strategic alignment on intricate technical issues

• Guide multiple products through their entire life cycles, from concept to release and ongoing maintenance

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

• At least 15 years of experience in IT management

• Minimum of 10 years of requisite experience

• In-depth knowledge of Agentic AI and Google AI tools

• Effective and concise communication skills across all levels and technical complexities

• Practical experience in software development using object-oriented languages, cloud technologies, and modern tech stacks

• Familiarity with agile development, CI/CD, and DevOps practices

• Ability to handle multiple dependencies, align strategic initiatives, and resolve complex technical challenges

• Leadership experience across various products throughout their life cycles

• Understanding of Architectural Design Patterns and Domain Driven Design principles

• Strong skills in software engineering and architecture

• Experience applying domain-driven design patterns, including microservices, containers, reactive, stateless, and distributed architectures

• Proficiency with open-source technologies

• Extensive hands-on experience with performance and scalability management of Kubernetes Containers, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, Kafka, Spring Boot, and Java/Python applications

• Expertise in identifying and triaging problems in complex multi-tier systems

• Strong project management, problem-solving, and change management abilities

• Experience in building and leading top-tier, high-performance teams and directing multiple teams and engineering managers

• Proven track record of initiating and growing teams or organizations under direct leadership
