Senior AI Engineer/Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Design, train, and refine models and pipelines for speech-to-text (STT), natural language understanding (NLU), and text-to-speech (TTS) applications.

• Build and sustain MLOps pipelines for the deployment, monitoring, and retraining of models.

• Develop APIs and services that expose AI functionalities to both backend and frontend systems.

• Collaborate with backend engineers to enhance inference performance and minimize end-to-end latency.

• Create frontend prototypes, dashboards, and demonstrations using contemporary frontend frameworks.

• Conduct research and controlled experiments aimed at improving model accuracy, quality, and overall performance.

• Assess external models and providers based on product requirements and quantifiable benchmarks.

• Document model architectures, experimental results, evaluation findings, and deployment processes.

• Engage in code reviews while upholding high standards of engineering and reproducibility.

• Design, deploy, optimize, and monitor AI/ML models that drive the Voice Agent platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–9 years of experience in AI/ML development.

• Proficient in Python, with experience in PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, or similar frameworks.

• Practical experience in speech/audio processing and natural language processing methodologies.

• Deployment experience with ONNX, TensorRT, Triton, or equivalent tools.

• Familiarity with React, Vue.js, or Angular; frontend development experience is essential.

• Experience with cloud AI platforms such as AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, or Azure ML.

• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficient in Git and continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience with real-time streaming technologies such as WebSocket or WebRTC.

• Knowledge of model quantization, pruning, and inference optimization techniques.

• Familiar with SIP, WebRTC, or PSTN integration.

• Contributions to open-source projects or research publications in AI, speech, or voice domains.
