
Senior Advisor, Federal Partnerships β Executive Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
β’ Identify and assess partnership prospects with primes, systems integrators, technology vendors, and federal collaborators.
β’ Oversee daily interactions with existing partners, monitor commitments, coordinate meetings, and escalate any issues.
β’ Assist in developing capture and teaming strategies in areas such as Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management, software bills of material, and product security.
β’ Prepare and coordinate teaming agreements, memoranda of understanding, and channel arrangements for review and execution.
β’ Maintain records of partners, pipeline entries, and activity history within the CRM system.
β’ Generate regular partnership performance reports for division leadership.
β’ Plan and execute the organization's presence at federal events, industry days, conferences, and hosted engagements.
β’ Manage the event run of show, logistics, staffing plans, materials, and post-event follow-ups.
β’ Direct cross-functional contributors on event deliverables and timelines under a formal operating charter.
β’ Act as the operational partner to the division president, handling intricate calendars, travel arrangements, and scheduling.
β’ Prepare agendas, materials, and read-aheads; document decisions and action items, and ensure commitments are fulfilled.
β’ Draft, edit, and oversee correspondence, briefings, and presentations on behalf of the division president.
β’ Coordinate execution with program delivery, technical delivery, contracts, and marketing teams.
β’ Track legislation, authorizations, and appropriations relevant to supply chain cybersecurity and Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management.
β’ Interpret legislative developments into written implications for the division.
β’ Prepare briefings, position papers, talking points, and read-aheads regarding legislative and funding issues.
β’ Organize meetings with congressional offices, federal departments, agencies, and program offices.
β’ Support involvement in trade associations, coalitions, and government forums, representing Fortress.
β’ Manage sensitive and confidential information with sound judgment and discretion.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in business development, partnerships, program operations, executive support, or a federal policy setting.
β’ Proven ability to manage complex logistics and multi-stakeholder events from start to finish, meeting deadlines without direct authority over contributors.
β’ Familiarity with U.S. national security priorities and the federal policy process, including the flow of appropriations and authorizations.
β’ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create executive-level materials and briefings.
β’ Demonstrated expertise with CRM tools and disciplined tracking of pipelines and activities.
β’ Capability to manage competing priorities and handle confidential information with discretion.
β’ Located in or willing to relocate to the Washington, D.C. metro area, with travel as necessary.
β’ Active Secret Clearance is mandatory.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, political science, national security, public policy, communications, or a related field is required.
