This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead and provide support for the monthly closing process across various legal entities and clinic locations.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Prepare and assess monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports.
• Ensure the accuracy of the balance sheet and subledgers, which includes cash, receivables, revenue-related accounts, inventory, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
• Support and implement revenue recognition policies in line with ASC 606.
• Oversee the accounting for cost of services, cost of goods sold, and inventory in accordance with ASC 330.
• Collaborate with operations and systems teams to validate revenue, cost, inventory inputs, assumptions, and data flows.
• Prepare technical accounting analyses for new services, pricing structures, retail offerings, and operational adjustments.
• Assist with the validation of opening balance sheets and purchase accounting in compliance with ASC 805.
• Support the valuation and accounting for acquired inventory, revenue-related balances, and associated accruals.
• Integrate newly acquired clinics into accounting systems, policies, and closing schedules.
• Standardize accounting practices across newly acquired entities.
• Provide guidance and review support to members of the accounting team.
• Serve as a technical and process escalation point for complex accounting, closing, and integration challenges.
• Support training, documentation, and execution discipline throughout the accounting function.
• Promote a culture of ownership, clarity, and accountability.
• Assist with internal controls through review standards, documentation, and segregation of duties.
• Aid in external audits, lender reporting, and transaction-related inquiries.
• Enhance close efficiency, minimize manual risk, and improve reporting quality.
• Collaborate on system implementations and process standardization initiatives, including enhancements to NetSuite.
• A valid CPA is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Extensive experience in accounting and reporting for multi-entity or multi-location settings.
• Familiarity with working in NetSuite.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirements.
