This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary liaison for a designated client portfolio and manage the comprehensive accounting cycle, encompassing bookkeeping through to month-end and year-end closures.

• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, conduct variance analysis, and present executive summaries that include KPIs and insights for improvement.

• Execute reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, balance sheets, intercompany accounts, and accruals, investigate any discrepancies, and propose corrective measures.

• Assess and enhance accounting processes, internal controls, and technological tools to improve efficiency and financial transparency.

• Oversee intercompany reconciliations, assist in consolidations for multi-entity setups, and collaborate with tax teams to ensure compliance accuracy.

• Mentor and review the work of junior team members as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a CPA firm, including time spent in an international CPA firm and involvement in cross-border accounting projects.

• Practical experience in managing month-end and year-end closures, preparing financial statements, conducting variance analysis, and performing reconciliations.

• Familiarity with multi-entity accounting, consolidations, and internal control processes.

• Strong command of QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel capabilities.

• Experience acting as a direct point of contact for clients and reviewing the work of junior accountants.

• Preferred: Experience using Bill.com.

• Preferred: Understanding of US GAAP.

• Preferred: Active CPA license.

• Preferred: Professional proficiency in French.
