Senior Accountant, Research Grants

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Oversee the accounting for federal, state, and private research grants and contracts

• Manage other specified funds

• Administer grants and contracts in compliance with the requirements set forth by grantors and contractors

• Contribute to Seattle Children’s mission as a healthcare delivery system

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

• At least five (5) years of experience in accounting, specifically in grant and contract accounting

• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is preferred

• Experience in healthcare accounting is preferred

• Background in non-profit accounting is preferred

• Proficiency in Lawson ERP is preferred
