
Senior Accountant – Group Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +2 more countries.
• Carry out the monthly group consolidation process.
• Prepare elimination entries and execute foreign exchange translation.
• Compute cumulative translation adjustments (CTA).
• Manage and configure the group consolidation tool.
• Calculate recurring intercompany charges in accordance with transfer pricing policies.
• Transition intercompany accounting processes from external advisors to in-house management.
• Maintain a detailed intercompany transaction register.
• Prepare lender reporting packages, compliance covenant schedules, Group US GAAP financial statements, footnote disclosure packages, and annual financial disclosure checklists.
• Review trial balance submissions from international entities in South Africa, Mexico, and Brazil.
• Ensure accurate mapping to the group chart of accounts while maintaining data integrity.
• Gather internal control evidence and monitor management letter recommendations.
• Coordinate the deliverables required for audit requests.
• Oversee share-based compensation schedules, valuation tracking, and cost allocations among entities.
• Provide support for daily cash positioning and liquidity forecasting.
• Assist the Statutory Reporting Manager during peak reporting periods.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Accounting Manager to enhance independent Group Reporting operations.
• Minimum of 4 years of practical accounting experience with demonstrated expertise in multi-entity group consolidations.
• Recognized professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, particularly concerning foreign currency translation and intercompany eliminations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and comfort handling large, complex datasets.
• Resilient with a strong problem-solving approach.
• Keen interest in software and AI automation.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English.
• Experience in a Big 4 or top-tier audit firm with deep knowledge in full-cycle financial reporting, intercompany recharges, and cost-plus transfer pricing.
• Hands-on experience in leading or configuring new ERP and consolidation system implementations in a dynamic, high-growth startup environment.
• Proven ability to manage distributed financial operations, including external bookkeeping services and regional accounting partners.
