This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +31 more states.
• Assist in the monthly creation of consolidated financial statements, which includes footnotes and Management Disclosure & Analysis (MD&A), in compliance with US GAAP.
• Help prepare the reporting package submissions for CDK's private equity stakeholders.
• Aid in the review and validation of schedules and footnote support provided by business partners.
• Assist with government census reporting and standalone financial statements for a variety of legal entities.
• Support the maintenance of consolidation hierarchies and account mappings within FCCS.
• Aid in the preparation of top-side journal entries.
• Assist with requests from internal and external audits.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with cross-functional stakeholders throughout CDK.
• Contribute to process enhancements and automation efforts to optimize reporting and minimize the close timeline.
• Support ongoing control procedures and documentation related to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Adhere to CDK Global policies and procedures.
• Fulfill mandatory compliance tasks and acknowledgements.
• Meet or surpass performance expectations.
• Report directly to the Manager of Consolidations and Reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in public company accounting, auditing public companies, or a combination of both (in a SOX 404 environment).
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and internal controls.
• Proficiency in commonly used financial systems and tools.
• Ability to effectively communicate analytical data and accounting principles to others.
• Capable of leading projects and demonstrating initiative.
• Strong analytical skills to assess data, solve problems, think strategically, and offer recommendations.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Proven attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Competent in managing deadlines and prioritizing workload.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with sound decision-making and judgment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
• CPA designation or being a CPA candidate is preferred.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud (e.g., ARCS, FCCS) is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with a managed services provider.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the requirement of current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
