
Senior Accountant – Brokerage, Member Incentives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +39 more states.
• Develop, assess, and implement accounting and finance functions that support brokerage and member incentive operations.
• Assist in brokerage and member incentive accounting tasks, including the preparation of monthly journal entries and variance analysis.
• Prepare, analyze, and upload journal entries into PeopleSoft, while facilitating month-end close activities up to business day six.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and reconcile income statements, trial balances, and other financial reports for designated functional areas.
• Prepare management and financial reports, providing insights on the organization’s financial position.
• Create analytical financial tools for crucial balance sheet accounts and suggest improvements to accounting methods and procedures.
• Develop, implement, modify, and document accounting systems.
• Maintain and update Excel-based reporting files.
• Support process enhancements through automation, Copilot, and various technology solutions.
• Investigate accounting issues and aid in due diligence, integration activities, technical accounting research, and other business initiatives.
• Conduct special studies and assist with special projects.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned and adhere to company policies and standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Over 3 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Experience, preferably in public accounting or the healthcare sector.
• Advanced skills in Excel.
• Experience in supporting brokerage and member incentive accounting activities.
• Familiarity with Oracle PeopleSoft, Oracle nVision, or comparable financial systems.
• Comfortable with a fast-paced month-end close cycle, including additional hours during the first six business days of the month.
• Capability to prepare, analyze, and upload journal entries.
• Ability to complete balance sheet reconciliations and reconcile income statements, trial balances, and other financial reports.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
