Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee subsidiary and general ledgers

• Generate monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with HGB and IFRS

• Act as a liaison for auditors

• Assist in reporting to regulatory bodies

• Analyze and present financial data to management

• Operate autonomously while being part of a skilled and agile team

• Engage in cross-departmental projects

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed university degree in economics or business administration, preferably with a focus on finance

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in an (insurance) company or audit firm

• Strong numerical skills, along with analytical and conceptual capabilities, accompanied by a methodical work approach

• Passion for new technologies and a solid affinity for IT

• Excellent team spirit and a solution-driven attitude

• Familiarity with insurance accounting is a plus
