This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring that financial activities are accurately recorded and completed on schedule.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and various other general accounting entries.
• Analyze and prepare balance sheet reconciliations while investigating any discrepancies.
• Utilize BlackLine to ensure precise, timely, and well-documented account reconciliations.
• Aid in the preparation and reporting of financial statements.
• Provide financial analysis and assist with ad hoc accounting and Finance projects.
• Ensure that revenue transactions are accurately recorded in compliance with U.S. GAAP and ASC 606.
• Review accounting activities, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve issues.
• Assist in maintaining robust accounting controls and consistent financial reporting practices.
• Support annual statutory audits for legal entities located in Australia, New Zealand, and Hong Kong.
• Help ensure adherence to applicable local GAAP and statutory reporting requirements.
• Assist in the annual consolidated group audit under U.S. GAAP.
• Work closely with both internal and external auditors to provide necessary schedules, documentation, and requested information.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Accounting and Finance as well as other business functions.
• Offer accounting guidance and assist in resolving financial issues.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across various functions and geographical locations.
• Help sustain effective financial controls and processes.
• Operate within ERP and cloud-based accounting environments.
• Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and formulate practical solutions.
• Support enhancements to accounting processes, controls, and reporting.
• Take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation is mandatory.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience in a multinational organization.
• Practical experience with month-end closing and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience in supporting a consolidated annual audit under U.S. GAAP.
• Familiarity with statutory reporting requirements for international legal entities.
• Knowledge and hands-on application of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
• Experience in a cloud/SaaS accounting environment.
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with Oracle is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated individual comfortable taking initiative, managing priorities, and following through.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing organization is a plus.
• Familiarity with Oracle or similar ERP systems is beneficial.
• Experience using BlackLine for account reconciliations is a plus.
• Prior experience working directly with international Finance teams and external auditors is an advantage.
