Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee month-end closing activities, which encompass journal entries, account reconciliations, and fluctuation analyses.

• Manage accounting processes within designated areas, ensuring that transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with US GAAP.

• Create, document, and enhance accounting policies, procedures, controls, and reporting processes.

• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Procurement, Legal, and other departments to address accounting issues and convey recommendations.

• Assist with internal and external audits, technical accounting analyses, and various cross-functional projects.

• Report directly to the Accounting Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including responsibilities related to general ledger and month-end closing.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Comprehensive understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and internal controls.

• Familiarity with NetSuite or a similar ERP system.

• CPA certification or experience in public accounting is preferred.

• Strong analytical abilities and capability to oversee complex projects with minimal supervision.

• Candidates must be authorized to receive and access commodities and technologies regulated under U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
