Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Report directly to the Manager of Accounting.

• Collaborate with various business units to collect data, verify accrual assumptions, and guarantee the timely and precise recognition of expenses.

• Conduct thorough account reconciliations, variance analyses, and review relevant documentation to uphold the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.

• Assist in the month-end and quarter-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with deadlines and accuracy in financial statements.

• Work closely with FP&A to reconcile actuals with forecasts and budgets.

• Identify, design, and execute process enhancements to boost efficiency, accuracy, and automation in assigned responsibilities.

• Aid in annual audits by preparing schedules, addressing auditor inquiries, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and company policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

• 4-6 years of accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years concentrating on accruals, month-end close, and reconciliations or financial reporting.

• Strong understanding of GAAP principles.

• Experience in fintech, SaaS, or technology-driven sectors is preferred.

• Proficient in advanced Excel skills.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) is highly preferred.

• Exceptional attention to detail, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across finance and non-finance teams.
