Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assist in preparing standard journal entries and managing the closing schedule to adhere to reporting deadlines.

• Help with reconciliations for all month-end balance sheet accounts.

• Conduct detailed analyses of general ledger accounts and selected cost centers.

• Review general ledger transactions for accuracy, completeness, and reasonableness.

• Analyze trends or discrepancies and suggest corrective measures.

• Execute weekly bank and reporting uploads.

• Provide support for accounting and cross-functional projects as required.

• Compile monthly closing reports.

• Deliver exceptional accounting services to a growing portfolio of small to mid-sized companies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA).

• A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.

• Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in US accounting.

• Experience managing multiple clients and adapting in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

• Familiarity with a variety of software solutions.

• Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities.

• Capable of responding to and fulfilling client requests in a timely and professional manner.

• Ability to identify and safeguard confidential and sensitive information while exercising strict discretion.

• Competent in managing several clients and responsibilities simultaneously.

• Excellent skills in time management, prioritization, and multitasking.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Adaptable and able to adjust when priorities shift.

• Proactive, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.

• Proficient in working in a fully remote environment.

• Self-motivated and able to operate with minimal supervision.

• A minimum internet speed of 50–100 Mbps is required.
