Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide precise and timely financial reports for Members.

• Ensure books are clean and ready for audits, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and account reconciliations.

• Monitor assets, liabilities, and loan amortizations.

• Oversee tax obligations and prepare necessary documents for audits and financial assessments.

• Simplify complex financial data into understandable insights for entrepreneurs.

• Work directly with Members on budgeting, actuals, and growth strategies.

• Suggest accounting systems and automation solutions to enhance efficiency and minimize errors.

• Guide junior accountants and aid in elevating team performance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of professional accounting experience.

• A minimum of 1 year in a senior or supervisory capacity.

• At least 2 years of practical experience with QuickBooks Online (mandatory).

• More than 2 years of experience in an accounting firm or a similar high-paced, multi-client setting.

• Extensive knowledge of GAAP.

• Proficient in Excel, including skills in pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.

• Exceptional project management and deadline adherence skills.

• Outstanding communication abilities, with a knack for explaining the rationale behind financial figures.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and resourceful.

• Enthusiastic about process improvement and acquiring new tools.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

• Must live and work from CO, FL, GA, NC, NY, OK, UT, or WI.
