Client Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional accounting support to clients

• Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles

• Keep abreast of developments in accounting standards and financial technology

• Guide clients from the onboarding stage through ongoing engagement phases

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable

• Create journal entries and conduct monthly reconciliations

• Generate monthly financial reports

• Assist with payroll and HR functions

• Adhere to established procedures for each client interaction

• Work collaboratively with team members to surpass client expectations

• Handle client communications and pinpoint areas for improving their profitability

• Engage in company-specific and industry best-practice training

• Balance a flexible schedule in coordination with the manager

• Participate in cross-training and load balancing with team members

• Attend regular team and managerial meetings

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

• Over 7 years of comprehensive accounting experience

• At least 1 year of transactional accounting experience with software like QuickBooks Online

• Proficiency in Bill.com, Expensify, or a QuickBooks Online Certification is strongly preferred

• Process-driven mindset

• Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies

• Enthusiastic about adhering to SPRCHRGR practices and contributing to their improvement

• Experience working in a remote setting is an advantage

• Effective and clear written and verbal communication skills
