Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement US GAAP, specifically ASC 606, for contracts related to revenue recognition.

• Evaluate general ledger activities and carry out account reconciliations.

• Create special financial status reports and execute unique projects.

• Assess department and GL account coding for accuracy.

• Conduct bank reconciliations.

• Generate recurring, non-recurring, and adjusting journal entries.

• Support variance analysis during the period-end closing process.

• Prepare audit schedules in collaboration with the GL team to ensure a timely year-end audit.

• Assist in the preparation of sales tax returns.

• Provide financial data and documentation for requests from tax preparers.

• Document and uphold accounting policies.

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal departments.

• Adapt to new responsibilities and tasks as the business evolves.

• Contribute positively and professionally with a constructive attitude.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing.

• Knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606.

• Proficiency in MS Office.

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Outstanding organizational, follow-up, and attention-to-detail capabilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Reliable attendance and consistency.

• Must provide verification of the legal right to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred.

• Experience in healthcare, healthcare data, pharma, etc., is a plus.
