This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, corporations, trusts, and partnerships.
• Management and preparation of taxation compliance for ITR, CTR, TRT, FBT, BAS, and PTR.
• Development of comprehensive CGT calculations and Division 7A workings.
• Independent formulation of tax planning strategies for intricate advisory issues.
• Compiling client inquiries into organized and concise lists for team members to address with clients.
• Evaluating cloud-based bookkeeping (Xero and MYOB) to ensure data accuracy.
• Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of internal firm processes.
• Over 5 years of experience with Australian tax law in a public practice setting.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, or a related discipline.
• A CA or CPA certification.
• Strong technical expertise in tax matters.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Xero and other cloud-based accounting platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• A proactive and commercial approach with a commitment to assisting clients in achieving success.
• Engagement with Australian clients and adherence to Australian working hours (ensuring valuable experience and an early finish!).
