Senior Account Representative, SMB

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for the complete commercial relationship and results for around 80 high-value SMB merchants.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the merchants assigned to you.

• Discover opportunities to enhance relationships, increase product adoption, and address merchant requirements.

• Utilize AI-driven tools to highlight growth opportunities, cross-selling, and risk indicators.

• Assess customer needs and deliver customized solutions to promote sales growth.

• Retain and expand a diverse portfolio of business through cross-selling, upselling, and increasing wallet share.

• Ensure accurate management of pipeline, forecasting, portfolio health reporting, and revenue projections.

• Collaborate with internal teams and engage partners to apply best practices and address merchant needs.

• Operate outside established processes and standard playbooks to determine suitable actions and solutions.

• Share effective strategies and practices with less experienced account managers.

• Enhance the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of sales processes and programs.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience along with a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.

• Proven success in managing high-value or strategic customer relationships and achieving related commercial results.

• Professional fluency in German is required.

• Strong ability to communicate effectively with merchants and business stakeholders.

• Measurable experience in retaining and growing a diverse portfolio of business through cross-selling, upselling, or wallet share growth.

• Proficient in utilizing AI or commercial data to prioritize opportunities and identify churn or decline risks.

• Capable of navigating beyond standard playbooks and evaluating alternatives for unclear merchant issues.

• Skilled in mobilizing internal partners, maintaining account plans and forecasts, and executing actions.

• Earlier qualifications include a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
