Senior Account Receivable Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Accurately and efficiently process, verify, and issue a high volume of customer invoices for fleet maintenance services.

• Oversee customer account balances and conduct daily and weekly accounts receivable sub-ledger reconciliations with the general ledger.

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, unapplied cash, short payments, and inquiries related to customer invoicing.

• Execute daily cash applications across various payment methods, including ACH, wires, credit cards, and checks.

• Review aging reports on a daily basis and carry out proactive, professional collections outreach on overdue accounts.

• Work closely with clients to address billing issues, ensure timely payments, and sustain a healthy cash flow.

• Produce weekly and monthly accounts receivable aging reports, collection metrics, and transaction volume reports for management review.

• Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to strict internal financial controls.

• Collaborate with operations and service teams to enhance billing workflows.

• Identify bottlenecks in the billing and collection cycle and implement improvements for handling high volumes effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of dedicated experience in high-volume accounts receivable, billing, and collections.

• Demonstrable ability to manage a substantial volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy.

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Ramp, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or similar ERPs).

• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English for professional, client-facing discussions regarding collections.
