πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Accurately process and apply premium payments, gather backup worksheets, rectify backup documentation, and communicate variances.

β€’ Manage disbursement transactions related to returned premiums.

β€’ Prepare and analyze variance reports while reconciling incorrectly applied premiums.

β€’ Communicate variances for short or overpayments to third-party administrators.

β€’ Keep detailed journal notes of all corrections made.

β€’ Process premium backouts and reapplications resulting from changes in the Policy Administration system.

β€’ Initiate and manage ACH setups for new vendors and accounts.

β€’ Address queries from the Skyward team and third-party administrators.

β€’ Handle a high volume of daily emails and maintain an organized email folder for premium payments.

β€’ Collect and prepare audit backup documentation, assisting with auditor requests and compliance checks.

β€’ Generate and distribute annual 5500 – Schedule A reports.

β€’ Create and organize daily/monthly cash reconciliation folders along with TPA backup worksheets.

β€’ Identify and recommend process optimizations for accounts receivable functions.

β€’ Support activities related to month-end and year-end closings.

β€’ Maintain comprehensive accounts receivable records in line with company policy and insurance regulations.

β€’ Collaborate with Finance, Underwriting, Claims, and IT teams to resolve billing discrepancies.

β€’ Track essential accounts receivable metrics and report on their status, trends, and outstanding items.

β€’ Provide training support to team members.

β€’ Assist with special projects and ad hoc assignments.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

β€’ A minimum of 2 years in accounts receivable, insurance billing, or a similar role is preferred.

β€’ Comprehensive knowledge of accounts receivable processes, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting.

β€’ Proficiency in accounting systems, Excel, and document management tools.

β€’ Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

β€’ Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

β€’ Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

β€’ High level of integrity and confidentiality.

β€’ Preferred ability to maintain training documentation.
