This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, develop, and execute location strategies for large and intricate organizations.
• Generate new prospects within high-profile accounts and enhance customer relationships.
• Engage in and deliver presentations at trade shows, workshops, and seminars.
• Recognize key stakeholders, business influencers, and executive decision-makers.
• Comprehend customer budgeting and acquisition methodologies.
• Communicate the advantages and value of Esri technology specifically for the state government sector.
• Conduct research and seek opportunities for professional growth.
• Employ whiteboarding, presentation, and visual storytelling techniques.
• Implement account management and sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Direct account strategies in partnership with Esri teams and business collaborators.
• Share expertise, provide support, and mentor colleagues.
• Anticipate and address issues proactively while demonstrating initiative.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise sales, consulting, or program management.
• Proven track record in managing the sales cycle, forming partnerships, and being recognized as a trusted advisor to major clients.
• Strong financial and business insight for developing effective account growth strategies.
• In-depth understanding of state government business sectors and emerging technology trends.
• Capability to convert technological expertise into complex customer solutions.
• Familiarity with GIS, Esri technology, and operations within state government.
• Exceptional visual storytelling and negotiation abilities across various organizational levels.
• Knowledge of industry fiscal years, budgeting, and procurement processes.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally 25-50% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related discipline.
• Candidates must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not an option.
• Preferred: Basic knowledge of data science or spatial analysis.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
