
Senior Account Manager, Promotional Medical Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage projects within a vertical account team to ensure quality, continuity, and tactical alignment.
• Lead prestigious projects from clients via project managers and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with the Account Director on the development and oversight of tactical plans.
• Ensure quality and consistency across tactics executed by Avant and external partners.
• Offer guidance and consultation to Account Managers regarding project execution.
• Convey client expectations to cross-functional teams effectively.
• Serve as the liaison for the Customer Management Office within the account.
• Provide invoicing details and budget status updates.
• Review changes in job scope and manage project closeouts.
• Offer peer-to-peer channel insights and recommendations.
• Foster strategic client partnerships based on product knowledge and objectives.
• Facilitate strategic brainstorming sessions and annual strategic planning initiatives.
• Create project proposals and collaborate on budget development.
• Ensure that strategic objectives are achieved for client projects.
• Support opportunities for organic account growth.
• Execute projects with the Project Management Team from initiation to closeout.
• Develop and oversee creative briefs and client scope statements.
• Monitor projects against tactical and strategic objectives.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, industry standards, and guidelines.
• Conduct client status meetings, preparing agendas, notes, and follow-up items.
• Oversee project scope and communicate any changes effectively.
• Provide final approval on project deliverables.
• Develop status reports and track project and team outcomes.
• Manage project risks and issues, resolving or escalating them as necessary.
• BA/BS or equivalent degree is required.
• 3–4 years of experience in team leadership is required.
• 3–4 years of experience in client/customer management is required.
• 2+ years in pharmaceutical sales/marketing is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in strategic planning is preferred.
• Leadership experience within a corporate, marketing, or life sciences setting is preferred.
• Project management experience is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of today's leading social media platforms.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong skills in prioritization.
