Senior Account Manager, Performance Marketing

📋 Description

• Manage client relationships from strategy formulation to execution across a specialized portfolio of 1 to 5 accounts.

• Facilitate weekly performance discussions with founders, CMOs, and marketing directors.

• Collaborate with the Head of Paid Media to create cross-channel strategies encompassing Meta, Google, TikTok, CTV, and email.

• Provide budget allocation recommendations driven by attribution analysis and conversion metrics.

• Distinguish between genuine performance issues and normal fluctuations, proactively offering solutions.

• Challenge client assumptions when data suggests a more effective approach.

• Convert complex attribution data into actionable insights for business improvement.

• Navigate discussions regarding underperformance, budget adjustments, and flawed testing setups.

• Oversee cross-channel performance and pinpoint optimization opportunities.

• Link marketing performance to revenue, CAC payback, and LTV.

• Collaborate with media buyers to turn strategy into actionable implementation.

• Work alongside the creative team on testing roadmaps and asset creation.

• Oversee timelines across creative production, web development, and campaign launches.

• Align agency operations with the client's business strategy while managing multiple priorities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing performance marketing campaigns or client accounts with strategic oversight.

• Direct, hands-on experience with Google Ads, including Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and Demand Gen.

• Proficient knowledge of Meta Ads and TikTok Ads sufficient to lead discussions with clients across all three platforms.

• Strong proficiency in GA4, Looker Studio, and cross-channel attribution methodologies.

• Experience managing accounts with monthly budgets of $100K+ or equivalent complexity.

• Agency experience is highly preferred; in-house experience must include strategic collaboration with external partners or executive stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to handle challenging conversations while maintaining trust when delivering difficult information.

• Experience in DTC or e-commerce is essential.

• Experience in premium or luxury verticals is strongly preferred.

• Comfortable working in remote, asynchronous environments with distributed teams.

• Excellent project management skills.

• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
