This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, develop, and execute location strategies for large and intricate organizations.
• Generate new opportunities within high-profile accounts and strengthen customer relationships.
• Engage in and present at trade shows, workshops, and seminars.
• Exhibit advanced knowledge of the construction sector and its significance to GIS applications.
• Recognize key stakeholders, business drivers, and decision-makers at the executive or enterprise level.
• Comprehend customer budgeting and acquisition procedures.
• Clearly convey the advantages and value of Esri technology in the construction field.
• Conduct research and pursue opportunities for professional development.
• Utilize whiteboarding and presentation abilities to enhance visual storytelling.
• Implement account management and sales protocols to achieve revenue objectives.
• Assess performance based on contributions to customer requirements.
• Lead account strategies in conjunction with Esri teams and business collaborators.
• Share expertise, offer support, and mentor fellow team members.
• Proactively address and resolve issues.
• Over 5 years of experience in enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management.
• Proven experience in managing the sales cycle, forming partnerships, and establishing trusted-advisor relationships with large clients.
• Strong financial and business insight to develop effective account growth strategies.
• In-depth understanding of the construction industry and emerging technology trends.
• Capability to convert construction industry knowledge and technology into complex customer solutions.
• Familiarity with GIS, Esri technology, and their interrelations with the construction sector.
• Exceptional visual storytelling and negotiation abilities across all organizational tiers.
• Knowledge of industry fiscal years, budgeting, and procurement cycles.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally 25–50% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related discipline.
• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Recommended: General understanding of data science or spatial analysis and their application in solving organizational challenges.
• Recommended: Master’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
