
Senior Account Manager, Anti-Infectives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Assist in enhancing formulary access, ensuring protocol and order set readiness, supporting discharge pathways, and generating demand across specific hospital accounts.
• Collaborate with Infectious Disease physicians, hospitalists, pharmacists, case management teams, discharge planners, and IDN decision-makers to drive sales efforts.
• Create, implement, and execute cohesive territory business strategies.
• Cultivate hospital relationships while understanding customer needs and priorities.
• Provide scientific and clinical insights within the relevant disease state and product areas.
• Present sales information to physicians, APPs, medical staff, and clinic personnel.
• Work alongside Organized Provider Account Directors, Reimbursement Managers, and cross-functional partners.
• Meet and surpass territory sales objectives and optimize high-value customer interactions.
• Achieve formulary victories and translate market access successes into prescribing and utilization.
• Engage stakeholders in discussions that promote patient identification, treatment selection, IV-to-oral transition, discharge readiness, and reduction of readmissions.
• Coordinate efforts with nurse navigators, discharge planners, case managers, and specialty pharmacy partners.
• Identify and resolve barriers to product adoption.
• Plan activities to meet call metrics and enhance customer engagement.
• Conduct clinical brand presentations, educational programs, in-services, speaker sessions, and compliant scientific discussions.
• Analyze utilization patterns, customer insights, market trends, sales activities, and overall territory performance.
• Develop territory strategies in collaboration with the Regional Sales Director, brand team, and support partners.
• Manage the territory budget and handle administrative responsibilities.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics within the designated geographic area.
• Participate in training and development initiatives while adhering to corporate and industry compliance standards.
• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid driver's license.
• Over 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical, or biotech sectors.
• At least 3 years of experience engaging with hospitals and health systems.
• Familiarity with hospital decision-making processes, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship programs.
• Willing to travel up to 50% within the assigned region, including overnight trips.
• Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 35 pounds.
• Proven track record of top-tier sales performance and successful product launches.
• Demonstrated success in driving demand generation within hospital environments.
• Anti-Infective experience is preferred.
• Proficient in account selling and managing complex sales cycles.
• In-depth understanding of the Health Systems business model, organizational structure, key stakeholder roles, and decision-making processes.
• Experience collaborating with specialist physicians, hospitalists, pharmacists, and pharmacy leadership.
• Experience working across both hospital and community care settings.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong analytical skills to assess data and trends for actionable business planning.
• Flexibility and adaptability to evolving market conditions.
• Proven ability to comply with regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.
• Exceptional presentation and selling abilities, combined with solid business acumen.
