Senior Account Executive, PR

📋 Description

• Contribute to public relations strategy plans aimed at fulfilling client business goals and delivering immediate value.

• Oversee media relations, speaking engagements, awards, social media initiatives, and content development programs.

• Proactively pitch stories to technology, business, trade, and vertical media through both traditional and social channels.

• Craft press releases, byline articles, blog posts, social media content, and other materials with minimal oversight and edits.

• Engage with clients and provide strategic, insightful recommendations.

• Generate high-quality media coverage in the technology sector and beyond.

• Collaborate with B2B enterprise tech clients in industries such as cybersecurity, AI, data, manufacturing, and supply chain.

• Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3–4 years of post-graduate experience in public relations within an agency or corporate setting.

• Prior experience in technology public relations is preferred.

• A bachelor's degree in communications or a business-related field.

• Proven experience in media pitching.

• Established relationships with key journalists in prominent media outlets.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage shifting priorities and deadlines effectively.

• Must be eligible to work in Canada or the US without requiring visa sponsorship.
