This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Serve as the main executive-level contact for national account clients and their brokers.
• Develop and sustain trusted relationships with senior leaders in HR, finance, and benefits.
• Facilitate quarterly and/or annual performance meetings, showcasing plan performance metrics, claims trends, and strategic suggestions.
• Represent Cobalt at executive-level client gatherings, industry conferences, and client-hosted events when necessary.
• Offer proactive insights regarding emerging industry trends, compliance updates, and healthcare cost determinants.
• Assess benefit plan performance and pinpoint opportunities for cost reduction and enhancements in employee health.
• Collaborate with Sales and Underwriting teams to promote renewals, upsell possibilities, and revenue enhancement.
• Work alongside the National Accounts Account Manager to guarantee smooth day-to-day service delivery.
• Supervise and manage escalations, swiftly and transparently resolving complex client issues.
• Act as the executive escalation point for significant issues affecting client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Health Plan Performance/Analytics Consulting team to provide tailored data reporting.
• Convert analytics into executive-level insights and convey actionable recommendations.
• Equip clients with data-driven strategies for renewal and performance planning.
• Foster accountability among internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to National Account standards.
• Participate in the National Accounts Leadership Council, contributing to ongoing improvement and best practices.
• 7–10 years of experience in national account management, strategic client services, or benefits consulting.
• Demonstrated success in engaging with the C-suite/executive level and presenting to senior leadership teams.
• Strong understanding of self-funded health plans, stop-loss, and large group benefits administration is essential.
• Exceptional executive presence, along with communication and presentation skills, is required.
• Ability to interpret complex data and convert it into actionable business strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems (preferably Salesforce), and reporting/BI tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 30–40% for client stewardship meetings, onsite events, and conferences.
• A strategic, collaborative, consultative, and solution-oriented mindset with a proven record of achieving results.
