Senior 3D Visualization and Animation Technical Artist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the capturing of 3D photography and 4D video of talents.

• Ensure effective communication with talents and technical crew members throughout all phases of 3D content production.

• Work in collaboration with R&D and artistic teams to pinpoint the specific requirements for complex 3D animation projects.

• Develop visualization prototypes for cutting-edge 3D/4D content creation.

• Create and uphold detailed technical documentation that tracks each stage of the R&D process.

• Disseminate best practices and technical knowledge with artistic and research teams.

• Initiate and guide creative discussions.

• Tackle production challenges and discover opportunities for enhancing quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Art, Film, Communications, or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience with photo-real CG content creation workflows in the gaming, film, or entertainment sectors.

• Over 5 years of practical experience in 3D computer graphics (3D animation).

• Knowledge of character animation workflows, including blendshapes, rigging, and simulation (hair, garment).

• Proficiency with 3DCG platforms such as Maya, Unreal Engine, and/or Blender.

• Experience in shader development, material creation, and rendering.

• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
