This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Act as a reliable advisor and subject matter expert in Lightwell Security.
• Work together with engineering and product teams to address technical challenges.
• Serve as a liaison between Lightwell customers and Red Hat engineering teams.
• Enhance software development cycles and OS patching through Red Hat Consulting.
• Guide customer teams on security best practices.
• Contribute to the Red Hat knowledge repository.
• Create solution patterns to promote platform adoption and ensure long-term enterprise success.
• Collaborate with Product Security, partners, and customer security and operations teams.
• Support customer utilization of the Lightwell clearinghouse for triaging, patching, and backporting.
• Offer best practices for integrating Lightwell-remediated libraries within customer software development processes.
• Develop customer engagement strategies and maintain environment documentation.
• Address support inquiries.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Over 10 years of experience in software development, security, customer support, engineering, or QA.
• Proven experience in a strategic advisory capacity to senior IT and business executives.
• Practical knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
• In-depth understanding of software supply chains and CI/CD processes.
• Advanced skills in containerized application deployment using OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• High-level expertise in non-containerized deployment utilizing Ansible/AAP.
• Familiarity with image creation using Docker and Podman.
• Acquainted with Git version control practices.
• Experience with artifact repository tools such as Red Hat Quay, JFrog Artifactory, Sonatype Nexus, and uDeploy.
• Practical experience with Jenkins, GitLab Pipelines, GitHub Workflows, OpenShift GitOps, and Red Hat Pipelines.
• Advanced knowledge of unit testing fundamentals, including JUnit and pytest.
• Awareness of governance automation checks.
• Understanding of semantic versioning and the broader Java ecosystem.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Associate's, Bachelor's degree, or higher in computer science or a related technical field.
• Willingness to travel internationally and to customer locations as needed.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills in both English and French (native proficiency).
• Nice to have: enthusiasm for open-source software and Red Hat technology.
• Nice to have: prior experience as a developer, consultant, or solutions architect.
• Nice to have: Red Hat Certified RHCE; RHCA preferred.
• Nice to have: relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CompTIA Security+, CC, or CEH.
