This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate with clients in long-term partnerships to offer technical advice on use case development, configuration, and optimization for Enterprise Security (ES) and Splunk User Behavior Analytics (UBA).
• Proactively address complex customer issues to reduce downtime and enhance overall system resilience.
• Utilize security domain knowledge to expedite customer adoption of the Splunk security platform.
• Work alongside Field Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Support, and various cross-functional teams to guarantee comprehensive customer success.
• Interact with the larger Splunk Account Team to exchange vital information and align on strategic account plans.
• Create scalable team processes, produce collateral, and deploy tools to boost operational efficiency.
• Enhance Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) scores by identifying and documenting customer success stories.
• Recognize and advocate for product expansion opportunities within current accounts.
• Take part in mentoring programs and internal training sessions to promote continuous learning.
• Over 5 years of professional IT experience, including at least 3 years focused on information security.
• Familiarity with or administration experience in one or more SIEM or security log management systems, such as Splunk, ArcSight, LogRhythm, ELK, Q-Radar, Rapid7, Sentinel, or Chronicle.
• Active Splunk certification coupled with practical experience managing one or more Splunk premium applications, including Enterprise Security, Splunk SOAR (Phantom), or Splunk UBA.
• At least one recognized security certification, such as GIAC, CISSP, OSCP, or an equivalent credential.
• Professional experience in both Unix and Windows environments, including proficiency with command-line interfaces and scripting knowledge using Bash or Python.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
• Proven success in technical consulting or big-data analytics, with recent involvement in technical design and architecture.
• Understanding of essential cybersecurity domains, including security operations, forensics, threat hunting, insider threats, threat intelligence, risk management, vulnerability management, and compliance.
• Established experience as a technical leader, mentor, or subject matter expert in consulting or architectural roles.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills to engage with technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Willingness to undergo necessary security background checks, such as UK SC clearance.
