Security Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Evaluate security alerts and probe potential threats

• Aid in security surveillance and threat identification efforts

• Engage in vulnerability management and remediation tracking

• Assist in identity and access review processes

• Create dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI

• Support cybersecurity risk assessment initiatives

• Investigate emerging threats, attack methods, and vulnerabilities

• Contribute to security documentation, standards, and operational procedures

• Participate in incident response drills and inquiries

• Help identify security automation opportunities through Power Platform and scripting

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cyber Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related discipline

• Basic knowledge of networking concepts

• Fundamental understanding of operating systems and security principles

• Enthusiasm for cybersecurity operations and threat evaluation

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
