Security Innovation & Integrations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee Northrop Grumman’s technical security Innovation hub located at the Enterprise Security Center.

• Act as the primary link between Industrial Security and developers as well as technical teams.

• Propel the design, integration, and ongoing enhancement of technical security capabilities throughout the enterprise.

• Recognize and evaluate emerging technologies.

• Lead intricate integration initiatives.

• Manage the functional security team responsible for user assistance, configuration, and data integrity.

• Convert Industrial Security requirements into technical specifications for developers.

• Supervise the processing, exchange, and monitoring of security data across integrated systems.

• Collaborate with Industrial Security, Cybersecurity, and IT on workflows and configurations.

• Create and uphold standard operating procedures, configuration standards, and user guidance.

• Ensure data integrity and compliance; identify trends and systemic issues, and implement corrective measures.

• Organize, prioritize, and assign team tasks, including ticket triage, configuration modifications, integration improvements, and innovation projects.

• Direct testing, validation, and execution of upgrades, patches, and integrations.

• Provide metrics and reports on usage, performance, backlog, and issue trends.

• Assist in the development of dashboards and reports.

• Facilitate training and onboarding for users and technical stakeholders.

• Collaborate with IT, HR, Security Shared Services, and cross-functional teams to address complex issues and implement changes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience in Industrial Security, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field, OR a Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience in those areas.

• A current U.S. Government Secret level security clearance is required at a minimum.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Experience in supporting, integrating, or utilizing enterprise security information systems or tools, such as DISS/NBIS or SIMS.

• Proven experience in leading teams, projects, or workstreams.

• Strong grasp of industrial security principles and associated regulations, including 32 CFR Part 117/NISPOM and DCSA requirements.

• Ability to interpret security and business requirements, convert them into system and process modifications, and drive implementation.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with security professionals, developers, IT, and business leadership.

• Preferred: Current Top Secret and/or TS/SCI clearance.

• Preferred: Experience as an administrator, power user, or support lead for enterprise security tools or integrations.

• Preferred: Experience in leading a small technical or operational team.

• Preferred: Experience in developing and delivering training and user guidance.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Northrop Grumman's enterprise security organizations, processes, and tools.

• Preferred: Experience in data quality initiatives, metrics development, and dashboard/report creation.

• Preferred: Conceptual understanding of common programming, scripting, and query languages.

• Preferred: Comfort in reading code snippets, configuration scripts, or queries.

• Preferred: Ability to engage with software developers, database administrators, and technical staff.

• Preferred: Skill in translating technical explanations into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and management.
