Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, and implement Google security tools and platforms for clients.

• Set up Google Cloud Security Command Center, Chronicle Security Operations, BeyondCorp Enterprise, and other pertinent Google security services.

• Provide expert-level assistance for client inquiries and issues related to Google SecOps tools and configurations.

• Diagnose and resolve technical challenges effectively.

• Deliver proactive security advice and recommendations based on Google's security best practices and industry standards.

• Assist clients in understanding and mitigating potential risks within Google Cloud environments.

• Develop customized Google SecOps strategies aligned with client security objectives.

• Offer guidance on product selection, feature utilization, and roadmap planning.

• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients.

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Google SecOps initiatives.

• Create and maintain documentation for client environments, configurations, and best practices.

• Share knowledge and expertise with internal teams.

• Research and keep abreast of updates, features, and trends in the Google security product landscape.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in security operations.

• Strong understanding of common security frameworks.

• Familiarity with incident response processes.

• Knowledge of threat detection methodologies.

• Proven experience with Google Cloud security services, including Google Cloud Security Command Center (SCC), Google Security Operations, Google Threat Intelligence, Cloud Logging and Monitoring for security, Google Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Google Cloud Armor.

• One or more security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, (ISC)² SSCP, CISSP (Associate of (ISC)²), Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or other relevant cloud security certifications.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
