Security Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Offer customer guidance via calls with a Security Consultant to pinpoint challenges and propose tailored solutions utilizing Akamai's offerings.

• Conduct security evaluations of current customer configurations and recommend practical security enhancements.

• Create, implement, and verify security setups.

• Explain testing procedures on the Akamai staging network to customers as needed.

• Provide ongoing support to long-term clients on a daily basis.

• Ensure customer configurations are optimized and adhere to the latest security best practices.

• Interact daily with external clients in Italy.

• Work collaboratively with the 12-member Services Team and 25-person Italian team.

• Occasionally assist other EMEA accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, network security, and Content Delivery Network fundamentals (essential).

• Outstanding verbal, written, and auditory communication abilities.

• Skill in prioritizing tasks within a fast-paced customer environment.

• Capability to work collaboratively, support colleagues, and share insights.

• Demonstrated skill in identifying obstacles and opportunities, as well as designing and implementing effective solutions.

• Proficiency in English.

• Italian language skills are optional but valued.

• Ability to support the EMEA market with a focus on Italy.

• Extensive technical knowledge for customer-facing security architecture tasks.
