Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Investigate, document, and report on information security concerns and emerging trends.

• Coordinate incident response activities as part of a collaborative team.

• Work alongside IT and security teams to promptly address security incidents.

• Communicate effectively with management, technical personnel, and end-users.

• Manage, analyze, and investigate security incidents reported by Playtech’s security technology.

• Analyze security log data from various security devices and critical environments.

• Support, maintain, and operate security infrastructure and technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 1 year of experience in IT, preferably in a security or technical support capacity.

• Understanding of IT systems and principles of system architecture.

• Knowledge of the TCP/IP and OSI network protocol stack, including IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SMTP, HTTP(s), and SSH.

• Familiarity with Networking, Windows, and Unix Operating Systems.

• Awareness of security trends, tools, and products.

• Understanding of threat intelligence sources, indicators of compromise (IOCs), and threat hunting methodologies.

• Basic knowledge of cloud security principles and technologies such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Keen attention to detail when analyzing logs, alerts, and security data.

• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing threat landscapes and evolving security technologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Availability to work on a shift basis, including day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.

• Proficient English communication skills.

• Previous experience in managing security incidents, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery, is a plus.

• Experience with SOC tools such as SIEM, Incident Management, Threat Intelligence, and SOAR is advantageous.
