Network Cybersecurity Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage configuration requests, incidents, scheduled tasks, and issues pertaining to network security.

• Collect information from clients and internal teams, including the NOC and SOC.

• Create analytical reports or Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and prepare technical assessments.

• Review reports produced by other analysts, ensuring clear and professional communication.

• Guarantee SLA compliance through effective handling, logging, and resolution of requests.

• Assist teams in the implementation of new features and suggest enhancements to processes and practices.

• Perform regular security and asset health assessments.

• Develop and maintain a current knowledge base and document completed activities.

• Analyze and address security incidents, determining the optimal resolution approach.

• Contribute to advancements in security and technical support processes alongside Security and Infrastructure teams.

• Oversee and support the procurement team with equipment licensing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in network security, including operations, maintenance, and support.

• In-depth knowledge of Firewall and Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions.

• Experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, F5, Imperva, or Cisco is preferred.

• Relevant certifications are an advantage.

• Familiarity with SD-WAN and multi-link environments, including load balancing and failover capabilities.

• Understanding of static routing and the BGP and OSPF protocols.

• Knowledge of VLANs, STP, LACP, QoS, and network segmentation concepts.

• Experience with IPsec and SSL VPNs, along with secure remote access protocols.

• Background in preparing security reports, documenting procedures (playbooks), and developing security checklists.

• Well-organized and resilient, possessing an innovative mindset focused on continuous improvement suggestions.

• Sufficient English proficiency for effective verbal and written communication with international partners and clients.
