Analista de Seguridad de la Información – Gestión de Alertas DLP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Review, categorize, and follow up on alerts generated by the DLP tool.

• Analyze each case from the business process perspective, including the information used, who performed the action, its purpose, and authorization.

• Reach out to users and process owners to gather context on alerts and validate usual workflows.

• Identify false positives, legitimate activities that require rule review, and events that should remain blocked or escalated.

• Document interviews, evidence, decisions, and justifications for each case.

• Consolidate findings and present requests for rule review or adjustments to the provider, coordinating with Information Security.

• Monitor changes and validate with involved areas the adequacy of alerts and blocks.

• Identify recurring alerts and propose enhancements to reduce operational noise without losing visibility on risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.

• Experience in information security, process analysis, or DLP alert management.

• Understanding of sensitive information protection, DLP controls, and case management.

• Ability to analyze evidence and translate business needs into clear requirements for technical teams or providers.

• Experience collaborating with users, business areas, and technology or security teams.

• Understanding the purpose of a DLP solution and the general logic behind its alerts and blocks.

• Analytical skills, clear communication, and coordination between business, Information Security, and providers.
