Sector Operations Leader – Energy Market

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement sector strategies that align with market demands and overarching firm objectives.

• Ensure successful project execution within the Energy sector.

• Track sector and team performance while identifying potential opportunities for improvement.

• Manage staffing and capacity coordination across various business units.

• Optimize the use of technology and innovative solutions.

• Enhance communication and collaboration both within the sector and throughout the firm.

• Assemble effective project teams and foster staff development.

• Analyze market trends, client requirements, and new technologies, converting insights into actionable strategies.

• Supervise risk management approaches, compliance with regulatory standards, and adherence to industry benchmarks.

• Represent Olsson at conferences, industry gatherings, media interactions, and other relevant events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capable of contributing to and collaborating effectively within a team.

• Strong communication, leadership, management, and problem-solving abilities.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, construction, planning, landscape architecture, or a related field.

• An associate degree along with relevant experience will also be taken into account.

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in the consulting sector.

• At least 5 years of leadership and management experience.

• In-depth knowledge of project-based consulting, financial performance, profit and loss analysis, resource management, and staff utilization.

• Demonstrated success in attracting, developing, and retaining skilled personnel while creating high-performing teams.

• Proficient in identifying trends, strategic planning, influencing technical leaders, managing risks, and effectively communicating across teams, markets, and the firm.
