Secondary Mathematics Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee instructional programs from a home-based environment

• Maintain regular consultations with learning coaches and students

• Facilitate the instructional program through asynchronous web conferencing sessions

• Manage grading, generate progress reports, and hold parent conferences

• Engage in consistent communication with parents, students, and fellow educators

• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the K-12 curriculum across the program

• Assist students and parents by offering alternative strategies

• Ensure student records and data are consistently updated

• Create and implement virtual strategies for fostering a school community

• Take part in the organization and administration of State Testing

• Contribute to student recruitment sessions and other marketing initiatives

• Perform additional duties as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold certification to teach Secondary Mathematics in South Carolina

• Residency in South Carolina is required

• Gifted and Talented Endorsement is strongly recommended

• Proficient technology skills, particularly with MS Office and Google Suite

• Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written

• Highly organized and punctual in all responsibilities

• Customer-focused mindset

• High level of adaptability

• Proven capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting

• History of being a collaborative team player

• Willingness to travel occasionally for school and state testing events

• Capability to work remotely when necessary

• Availability to work some evenings as needed to assist families

• Must be able to utilize a personal electronic device and have an email address for two-step authentication.
