Secondary Electives Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee instructional programs from a remote location

• Regularly consult with learning coaches and students

• Complete grading tasks, generate progress reports, and hold parent conferences

• Maintain communication with parents, students, and fellow educators

• Create and revise Personal Learning Plans and schedules

• Provide constructive feedback on student assignments and recommend instructional strategies

• Track assignment completion and guide special projects

• Ensure student records and attendance are accurately maintained

• Collaborate with team members to design alternative enrichment activities

• Engage in the planning and management of State Testing

• Participate in field trips and community events

• Perform additional duties as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification to teach Secondary Electives in South Carolina (relevant to grade level responsibilities)

• Must be a resident of South Carolina

• Gifted and Talented Endorsement is highly recommended

• Proficient in technology, particularly with MS Office applications and Google Suite

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Highly organized and punctual

• Focused on customer service

• Demonstrated flexibility

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Proven track record as a team player

• Willingness to travel occasionally for school and state testing events (may involve some overnight travel)

• Capability to work remotely, if required

• Availability to work some evening hours, as necessary to assist families

• Must be able to utilize a personal electronic device and an email account for two-step verification
