This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Convert paper lead sheets into Salesforce CRM.
• Execute high-volume outreach to leads through phone calls, texts, and emails.
• Adhere to a structured sales outreach procedure to engage interested leads and applicants.
• Monitor student readiness for program departures by reviewing health forms, passports, and pre-departure documentation.
• Ensure that students’ health information is comprehensive and current.
• Communicate the value and outcomes of study abroad programs to students and their legal guardians.
• Inspire and guide participants and families throughout the scholarship and application processes.
• Assist families in overcoming obstacles related to studying abroad during high school.
• Provide customer support during the application, acceptance, confirmation, and pre-departure phases.
• Aid in virtual webinars and presentations for students and parents.
• Verify that participant financial accounts are accurate and settled; follow up on any discrepancies and outstanding payments.
• Utilize Salesforce reports to oversee the applicant pipeline and achieve sales targets.
• Maintain precise customer communication records in Salesforce.
• Support in-person school presentations and outreach events for candidates in NYC, Long Island, New Jersey, Westchester, or Southern Connecticut, with occasional travel within the designated area.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• A bachelor's degree or its international equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in customer service or sales.
• Capability to navigate challenging conversations effectively.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to comprehend and tailor communication according to diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capacity to handle a high daily call volume of 30–60 calls.
• Experience in international travel or study abroad is advantageous.
• Experience working with diverse high school students is beneficial.
• Additional language proficiency beyond English is a plus.
• Must pass a background check, reference check, and education and employment verification as conditions of employment.
• Full-time, hourly role offering up to 40 hours weekly.
• Standard schedule from Monday to Thursday with flexible Friday shift options.
