This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Take ownership of the organic search strategy for client accounts.
• Perform keyword research, AI prompt exploration, and provide content mapping suggestions.
• Identify AI prompts lacking strong content correlations and recommend content to develop.
• Execute thorough keyword analyses at the beginning of every new client engagement.
• Detect keyword/AI prompt cannibalization and consolidate duplicate or outdated content.
• Maintain up-to-date strategic and technical knowledge on marketing trends, algorithm modifications, platform updates, and AI-driven search innovations.
• Conduct complete technical audits at least every six months and at the initiation of each contract.
• Oversee ongoing technical monitoring and provide actionable recommendations to the development team.
• Perform internal link audits and suggest linking opportunities, appropriate anchor text, and surrounding content.
• Manage the backlink strategy, including identifying link targets, anchor text, outreach suggestions, quality assurance, and STAT annotation tracking.
• Monitor outcomes utilizing STAT, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and GA4.
• Responsible for monthly client reporting using Google Data Studio.
• Attain targeted search results through continuous monitoring, testing, and strategy modifications with the team.
• Lead client communications regarding strategy, execution, and project updates.
• Collaborate with a content marketer, advertiser, designer, and account director across roughly 7-10 client accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related discipline (preferred but not mandatory).
• 2-3 years of experience in SEO or organic search.
• Proficient understanding of Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and Looker Studio.
• Familiarity with keyword and site auditing tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or Moz.
• Expertise in Excel/Google Sheets for data management and analysis.
• Strong analytical abilities to transform performance data into actionable strategies.
• Flexibility to adapt to various clients, audiences, and industries.
