Seafreight Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage international ocean freight shipments from the planning phase through to delivery.

• Ensure accurate maintenance of shipment data, planning documentation, and records within the ERP system.

• Collect, verify, and refresh shipment information from shipping lines, hauliers, logistics partners, and international offices.

• Handle shipping documentation and assist with customs-related processes.

• Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays, exceptions, and operational challenges.

• Collaborate with internal teams, carriers, agents, and overseas offices to provide timely updates on shipments.

• Contribute to achieving KPIs, managing costs, and enhancing process improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in ocean freight operations and freight forwarding is required.

• Strong understanding of international shipping procedures, documentation, and supply chain processes.

• Familiarity with using ERP or Transport Management Systems (TMS).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong English communication abilities (B1/B2 level or above).

• Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.

• High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capability to work independently in a remote, international setting.

• Reliable fiber internet connection, with a recommended speed of 100/50 Mbps.

• Backup internet connection with a minimum speed of 20 Mbps.

• A quiet and conducive home workspace.

• A wired Ethernet connection is preferred during working hours.

• Optional power backup (UPS) is recommended if the location experiences frequent outages.
