SDET – Cypress, Typescript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development and execution of detailed testing strategies and plans.

• Provide mentorship and support to mid-level and junior QA engineers.

• Create and uphold automated testing frameworks utilizing Cypress, JMeter, and Postman.

• Perform code reviews and deliver constructive feedback regarding testability and code quality.

• Evaluate test outcomes and offer data-driven suggestions for system enhancements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Promote the adoption of best practices and foster continuous improvement within QA processes.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in software testing and quality assurance practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of experience in Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or Automation roles.

• Advanced proficiency in Cypress and TypeScript for comprehensive automation.

• Skilled in JMeter, Jest, Postman, and SQL/Database testing.

• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and contemporary testing tools.

• Expertise in executing intricate test cases for API, Performance, and Load testing.

• Familiarity with Git for version control and source management.

• Knowledge of AWS CI/CD pipelines and standard DevOps practices.

• Strong leadership qualities, mentoring capabilities, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Oral English.

• Native Spanish speaker.
