This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee and improve automation configurations and Java frameworks, including JUnit5, Playwright, and Retrofit, utilizing agentic AI tools.

• Investigate, assess, and deploy AQA tools, AI coding assistants, and agentic workflows.

• Perform AI-assisted code reviews to uncover security vulnerabilities, edge cases, and violations of design patterns.

• Set up CI/CD pipelines and incorporate AI-driven root cause analysis and self-healing features using GitHub Actions and Docker.

• Handle technical debt and carry out extensive migrations such as library updates and restructuring of legacy code.

• Guide the team on best practices for prompt engineering.

• Conduct candidate interviews and assess AI literacy.

• Create and maintain comprehensive AI instructions for the team, such as .cursorrules and CLAUDE.md.

• Contribute to operational excellence and maintain consistent code quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant full-time experience in Java Automation (Java 8+).

• Solid grounding in software testing principles, test strategies, and industry benchmarks.

• Demonstrated expertise in developing and sustaining test automation frameworks with Playwright, RestAssured, Retrofit, and Appium.

• Practical experience in API automation, OpenAPI/JSON schema validation, and testing SQL/NoSQL databases.

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong web automation skills along with a thorough understanding of HTML/CSS/DOM, XPath/CSS selectors, and browser DevTools debugging.

• Profound knowledge of client-server architecture, task estimation, prioritization, and the ability to work independently in alignment with team leads.

• Experience in creating and managing detailed test documentation, reports, and strategies.

• Expert-level proficiency in AI-Augmented Engineering, including tools like Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and agentic coding modes.

• Advanced skills in prompt engineering, with the capability to identify and rectify AI hallucinations while ensuring architectural integrity, script reliability, and data security.

• Exceptional communication skills.
