Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Ensure that ceremonies are focused and lead to clear actions and outcomes.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, and Technology Leads to assist in sprint and delivery planning.

• Identify blockers, risks, and dependencies, and help drive them towards resolution.

• Escalate any unresolved delivery concerns to the appropriate stakeholders.

• Maintain precise delivery visibility through Jira, ensuring that boards and backlogs are kept up to date.

• Monitor sprint progress, delivery metrics, commitments, and improvement actions.

• Facilitate retrospectives and aid teams in implementing practical enhancements.

• Promote ownership, collaboration, accountability, and consistent Agile practices.

• Coordinate across multiple delivery teams where cross-team dependencies are present.

• Provide regular updates regarding delivery health, risks, challenges, and areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, PMO, and other stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience as a Scrum Master or in an Agile technology/product delivery environment.

• Solid understanding of Scrum, Agile principles, and software delivery practices.

• Practical experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies.

• Strong working knowledge of Jira or similar project management tools.

• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary Product and Engineering teams.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to identify delivery risks, blockers, and dependencies proactively.

• Organized and comfortable tracking actions through to completion.

• Pragmatic approach focused on outcomes rather than merely following processes.

• Scrum or Agile certification is preferred but not essential.

• Background in FinTech, financial services, SaaS, or fast-paced technology environments.

• Experience supporting multiple Agile teams simultaneously.

• Knowledge of Agile delivery metrics such as velocity, cycle time, sprint predictability, and delivery health.
